Mick Davis Chair

Mick is an active member of the Friends of Upper Lesmurdie Falls. Mick has broad experience in landcare through a number of roles including his current role as Regional Landcare Facilitator with the Peel Harvey Catchment Council, and past roles including Environmental Manager for the City of Kalamunda, Biodiversity Program Coordinator and Regional Landcare Facilitator for Wheatbelt NRM, Ecologist with the Department of Parks and Wildlife and Woodland Watch Project Officer for WWF.

Bruce Ivers Deputy Chair

Bruce Ivers

Bruce grew up on a Kojonup farm and has been involved in landcare for 25 years. Initially as a farm owner he developed a farm plan and implemented fencing and revegetation projects. Following completion of a Master of Leadership and Management Degree, Bruce developed a backyard nursery through the Men of the Trees Farm Tree Help Scheme and has been planting trees ever since. Bruce currently coordinates large scale plantings with school groups through his business Trees Australia and is passionate about engaging kids in restoring biodiversity.

John Holley Secretary

John has worked for over 30 years with the WA public service including more than 20 years in landcare and natural resource management. As the director of the State NRM Office for 12 years before he retired in early 2018, he strongly advocated for and argued for the funding of landcare and community-based NRM in WA and nationally.  Since retirement, John has continued his interest in landcare and is keeping busy as a member of several landcare groups.

Bonnie Jupp Treasurer

Bonnie grew up in Northampton, where she developed the drive to be involved in landcare to support farmers build resilient farming systems that have a positive ecological impact. She currently works at Perth NRM on the RegenWA Program and the Natural Capital Accounting Project conducting on-farm ecological and soil assessments. Bonnie has previously worked in the broadacre gains space at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) in Geraldton, and with Western Australian cereal breeding company, InterGrain.

Julian Sharp Committee Member

Julian has been involved in landcare through the Manjimup LCDC, then Warren Catchments Council (now Southern Forests Community Landcare) since the late 1980’s. Julian lives on and operates a small family farm near Pemberton, growing a range of fruits, nuts, olives and vegetables as well as plantation eucalypts. He has a strong interest in public interest advocacy, rights of nature laws and promotion of environmental awareness and stewardship through education, art and community engagement.

Monty House Committee Member

Monty House

Monty is a Farmer from Tenterden in the Great Southern, he has been involved in his family farming operation ever since he was knee high to a numbat. During which time he has been deeply involved in many Landcare activities from tree planting, to programs assisting threatened flora and fauna, across many different areas of WA. His Landcare vision is to have an agricultural system that complements nature, a system in which the land produces high quality food, and the natural world thrives.

Anne-Marie Offer Committee Member

Anne-Marie has a background in marketing management, business consulting and family business ownership.  She has been a Board Member of Leschenault Catchment Council Inc. since 2020 and Chair since the beginning of 2023.  With her family, she is a landholder in Dardanup and has participated in the Healthy Estuaries WA soil testing program and completed stock exclusion, stream restoration and revegetation projects on the farm.  Anne-Marie is of a mindset that authentic and effective collaboration between community, government and industry can achieve pathways forward for the landcare and environment sector, and seeks to help in building these pathways.

Jacqueline Lahne Executive Officer

Jacqueline is a long-term community sector professional with extensive experience working with First Nations people in WA and the NT and recently completed four years with the NRM Regional body, South West Catchments Council, in the roles of Cultural Development Manager and Operations Manager.  Jacqueline has worked in senior management roles collaborating extensively with state agencies, state and federal governments and the Aboriginal community.

Caroline Hughes Comms Officer

Caroline has an extensive experience in natural resource management in Western Australia beginning in the 1990s with various environmental roles in the State Public Service.  More recently Caroline has worked in the community sector, firstly as Catchment Coordinator for GeoCatch,  later for 9 years as Executive Officer with Nature Conservation Margaret River Region and currently since 2022 as Executive Officer with Leschenault Catchment Council.

Eve Holohan Member Services Mgr

Eve grew up between Fremantle and Ireland, and spent every possible school holiday down in Albany and on family friends farms. She has recently completed a double degree BArts & BScie in Environmental Science and Heritage and Politics and International Relations at Notre Dame University. Eve is a committee member of Friends of Clontarf Hill and enjoys getting out in the bush whenever possible! She has also volunteered with multiple political parties. Eve see’s Landcare as an integral part of maintaining overall wellbeing and connection to your local country, but as a critical act to combat climate change and contribute towards the restoration of our beautiful environment.

Leonie Kirkwood Finance Officer

Leonie has a range of experience working with community groups and the non for profit sector in administration and finance over the past 15 years, in employee, contractor and volunteer capacities. She is passionate about using her skills to assist community groups achieve their goals and support their members and stakeholders. Leonie’s family come from the Murchinson river region in WA, Yamatji country, and she has strong interest in working with and supporting Indigenous businesses.
