DESCRIPTION:National Volunteer Week (NVW) is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers. The theme for 2018 is: Give a little. Change a lot. This theme represents the millions of volunteers who make a significant impact in their communities and on society\, by giving a little of their time. National Volunteer Week in 2018 will be held from 21-27 May 2018\, so it no longer clashes with the Federal Budget. \nGALA AWARDS DINNER\nTaking place on Thursday 24 May 2018\, this prestigious event honours the best of the best with awards for volunteering in eight categories. Guests enjoy a three course dinner\, premium wines and wonderful live entertainment. \nNATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK GRANTS\nThanks to Lotterywest support we are delighted to announce that we will be offering small grants for National Volunteer Week celebrations.
