Please save the date for the WA Threatened Plant Translocation Workshop.
The Translocation Workshop, to be held on Thursday 14 March, 2019, at the Keiran McNamara Conservation Science Centre, DBCA, Kensington, Perth will feature presentations on many aspects of translocation.
Opportunities for questions, discussion and networking will also enable information-sharing. The workshop will be relevant to those working with threatened plants, as well as restoration of ecological communities.
The third edition of the Translocation Guidelines was recently launched in Canberra by Sally Box, the Threatened Species Commissioner. The second edition is widely cited by conservation agencies around Australia, and well used by practitioners and researchers. The third edition contains contributions from over 30 specialists, all new photos and case studies.
