Who's Who in the Landcare Zoo?
Community Based Landcare Groups – Our Network
WALN is gathering information on the number of community based landcare groups in WA. This information will provide a better understanding of the scale of landcare across WA and enable greater collaboration, information sharing and support across the landcare community.
To date we have collected basic information for over 500 active landcare groups across the state confirming our suspicion that there are a vast number of community based groups contributing to the landcare effort in WA.
The Google Map below allows you to zoom into your location and to check if your landcare group or others in your area are already listed on our database. Click on the coloured dots to learn more about individual landcare groups or use the expanded map format to view the entire list of landcare groups sorted by region.
How you can help?
WALN is asking for your help to expand and update the information we have collected.
Please check whether your group is listed on the map and complete the form below to provide us with up to date information about your landcare organisation.
The form will only take a few minutes to complete. Most fields are optional, though the more information you can provide about your organisation the better to enable us to understand the status and scope of landcare groups across WA.
WALN thanks you for contributing to more efficient and effective landcare in WA.
