WALN’s Louise Duxbury chaired a planning meeting for the upcoming WA State NRM and Coastal Conference in Perth recently. The Conference main committee has three co-chairs with Louise focusing on Landcare/NRM, Garry Middle on Coasts, and David Collard providing Aboriginal leadership.
Conference event organisers Event & Conference Co. are now on board and subcommittees for the various conference elements are being formed.
Stay tuned for invitations for presentations, workshops, field trips and posters scheduled to go out over the coming months.
To make this conference the most inspiring and the most relevant we need your help! We are looking for volunteers willing to in put their hand up to help out with the Landcare/NRM and Coastal programs, Youth and Sponsorship sub committees.
