The WA Landcare Network (WALN), as the peak landcare body representing and supporting landcare groups across Western Australia and at the national level, is encouraging WA coast and landcarers to complete the Landcare Wellbeing Survey.
Please complete the short survey, which should take only 10-15 minutes by Tuesday 26 May, 2020
The national survey, prepared by Landcare Australia and administered by KPMG, aims to better understand the nature and extent of the benefits experienced by the people involved in landcare groups or engaged in landcare activities. Input will be aggregated so individual input cannot be identified. Landcare Australia is a corporate body established in the 1990s to promote landcare and seek corporate sponsorship for landcare.
More often environmental benefits of landcare are measured, but this survey aims to look at the deeper benefits landcare provides to people, to communities and nationwide.
WALN will be assessing the results of the Landcare Wellbeing Survey, together with outcomes from the WALN State of Landcare Report 2017 and the WALN Members Survey 2019, to help drive effective community Landcare in Western Australia.
We will be working with other peak landcare organisations across Australia to ensure that the real value of Landcare is recognised and communicated to stakeholders and governments. Our aim is to generate a stronger case for landcare funding support into the future for all.
Please complete the short survey, which should take only 10-15 minutes. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LPZMKD7
This survey is for people that are involved with a local Landcare or community environmental group, from facilitators, members and other volunteers across Australia. The survey seeks insights from catchment groups and landcare networks, Bushcare groups, ‘Friends of’ Groups, Coastcare groups and other environmental community groups. The results from this study will be made publicly available.
The Landcare Wellbeing Survey will be open until Tuesday 26 May, 2020 so fill it out now and contribute to an understanding the real value of landcare.
